For lenders, handling loans is a process fragmented across mostly legacy systems, which is often inefficient and error-prone. Polly has transformed this by integrating loan product management, pricing, and securitization into a single unified solution. However they are growing fast and needed a refactored interface to scale with their customers needs. I spearheaded our redesign at Polly to tackle this challenge. Below are some key improvements
We streamlined access to a variety of mortgage loan product types from hundreds of leading industry investors optimizing their workflow with intuitive logic tools, testing, and auditing for updates before live integration.
Lenders distributing loans across branches needed granular controls for qualifying applicants for loan products which has historically been done through a set of “if…then” statements in a cumbersome dialog. We gave this feature more room to breathe within it’s own view, while crafting a UI that made conditional relationships more obvious which decreased the number of back and forth rule reviews for stakeholders.
Lock desk analysts needed a way to test if their rule statements would fire in production. The primary issue with their former UI was that it wasn’t immediately obvious that the focus was determining loan product eligibility. We designed a view that clearly surfaced products and editable properties to test loan scenarios on the fly.
